FAMILY PRESERVATION AND REUNIFICATION PROGRAM
MFS is an approved DFPS Provider
In an effort to preserve and reunify families in crisis, Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) offers two programs, Family Based Safety Services (FBSS) and Conservatorship. Both programs provide family service plans, which present recommendations and guidelines meant to allow children to remain or return home safely. For these families we offer the following services in-office, home-based, video conferencing (Telehealth, Zoom, Google Duo, etc.) or at a selected location in the community:
- Psychological Services (psychological evaluation, psychosocial assessment, individual/family/couple’s counseling)
- Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment
- Supervised Visitations
- Parenting Classes
- Batter Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP)
- Intensive Case Management

Monarch Family Services has been licensing kinship (relative) families for foster to reunification, foster to adopt, foster to permanency managing conservatorship, and straight adopt for the past eight years. We have been able to provide resources and permanency for hundreds of families.

Foster Care Doesn’t Care
11th grade students Steven Huffman, Ethan Hart & James Kloss from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX won Honorable Mention in C-SPAN’s 2020 StudentCam competition. Their documentary looked at the foster care system in the United States.
